David is set to perform a series of concerts with friend and singer/pianist extraordinaire, Michael Feinstein.
The first of these, a one-off show, will take place on 22 November at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, CA. Next comes the imaginatively-titled Michael Feinstein and David Hyde Pierce Holiday Show, which will be running throughout December at Feinsteins at the Regency in New York.
Michael gave Playbill.com a quick blurb about what they have in store …
“The rough theme is the Gentiles meet the Jews at Christmastime. David is so WASPy, and I’m culturally so Jewish, and we’re going to explore the differences between our two backgrounds—and the inherent humor therein. Hopefully.”
