Holiday Show to kick off in upstate NY

A third location for David’s concert collaboration with Michael Feinstein has been announced. Just to recap: they’re doing a “song-filled evening” at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, CA on Sunday 22 November, and then they’ll have a holiday-themed month-long residency at Feinstein’s at Loews Regency in New York from 1-30 December.

But it now seems the Holiday Show will have its first outing at the Paramount Center For the Arts in Peekskill, NY, on Saturday 28 November:

Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum recording artist Michael Feinstein is the Director of Popular Song Series at Jazz at Lincoln Center and widely regarded as the ambassador of the American Songbook. David Hyde Pierce is best known as Niles Crane from TV’s Frasier but also has made quite a name for himself as Robin – and others – in Broadway’s Spamalot, A Wonderful Life and Curtains for which he won a Tony Award in 2007.

Comedy, music and theater collide as they give us the premiere east coast performance of their collaboration in an evening of stories and songs for the first time at the Paramount in Peekskill!

For anyone who’d like to see the Holiday Show but is a bit strapped for cash, this seems like a good option – the tickets are going for as low as $35, whereas the Loews Regency ones start at a hefty $90.
