David’s audiobook of Norton Juster’s fabulous The Phantom Tollbooth was nominated in the Best Spoken Word for Children category in the 2009 Grammy Awards. Here’s the full list of nominees in the category:

* Nelson Mandela’s Favorite African Folktales,Various Artists
* The Phantom Tollbooth, David Hyde Pierce

Congrats, David! Oh, but now I have that Eminem line in my head: “You think I give a damn about a Grammy? Half of you critics can’t even stomach me, let alone stand me!”
