David will host the awards ceremony of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, to be held at the Park City Racquet Club on 30 January.
The juries deciding the awards include the likes of novelist Russell Banks, actress Parker Posey, and documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock.
David’s latest movie, The Perfect Host, will have its world premiere at the Egyptian Theatre, Park City at midnight on Saturday 23 January, but will not be in competition at the festival.
