Love Brian’s bit of “Mattachine” sass!

“Mattachine” – oh yeah! Brian’s got me thinking musical number, choreography, kinda West Storyish.
Damn, that should read West Side Storyish. How do you edit these posts?
Damm my unsuccessful English lessons!!. Could anyone tell me what’s the joke D tells that makes everyone (and B) laugh.
I’ve only understood DHP comment – “Thank you for laughing”
Nilespatient-
I believe he said that they were too young
Louise – there is no editing. The blogging world is merciless!
Nilespatient – He says “And we’re too young” (to have known about the US’s first gay rights movement). Hee.
Note to self. Don’t attempt a snappy post until after that first cup of coffee.
Being of the same generation I empathise with David. It’s always a shock when a young person smiles at you indulgently and hands you that first “Young at Heart” birthday card. The one I got had a picture of a grandmother in a floral print dress playing hopscotch.
Seriously though I’d like to see this play. Also I liked Brian’s honesty when he said in the original reading the play hadn’t worked, before going on to praise the playwright for the finished article.
