A look back at Niles

David is very much a Broadway boy these days, but we thought it would be nice to go back to Frasier days. Let’s indulge in some Niles nostalgia via Youtube and enjoy David’s comic acting genius. Note the captions on the clips are not ours.

First up a hilarious scene from the Season 6 episode IQ. Niles and Frasier have won lunch with three Nobel prize winners.’Hallucinationing’ is a word now as far as we’re concerned.

Next one of the all time television classics, from Three Valentines. It’s been said that there’s a musicality to David’s comic timing. This time he’s been set to Mozart.

.
Last but not least we had to include a classic Niles and Daphne moment. From Mixed Doubles. Watch David, the master of poignancy.

    Hi Admin,
I was wondering if you know if David tweets. I signed up for an account with his name and picture, but something seems fishy to me. Is it really him?
Thanks for any info. I’m new to Twitter and don’t know that much about it.

No, David is not on Twitter – sorry. We wish he was.

Thanks. I enjoy looking back over all the information on this website. I never really watched Frasier much when it first aired, but started watching the reruns last September. I noticed how great David was and got curious about him. In my opinion, he kind of eclipsed Kelsey Grammer as the real star of the show. I was so happy to get to see him in Close Up Space. I just wish I could have seen Curtains with him singing and dancing!

Emma, I agree with your comments about David in Frasier. Glad you’re enjoying the website. :-)

    David was amazing in Curtains.
